This recipe started out as a way to solve the problem of how to make caramel without butter, ie to make parve or vegan caramel for Vegan Chocolate Matzah Bark. It ended up tasting too good to be just a means to an end.

UPDATED – Vegan Chocolate Matzah Bark
There are many versions of Passover (Matzah) Chocolate Bark. This variation is both vegan and a bit healthier at the margin. Still this is essentially candy for dessert. Shakespeare wrote that “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” Whatever you call yours, it should taste as sweet!
Gluten Free (GF) Granola
Back in the day, we used to eat granola in the morning with milk or yogurt for breakfast, as a snack throughout the day, and in the evening to top fruit or ice cream.
